Dear P.S. 133Q Families
The PTA Executive Board would like to extend a very warm welcome to each of you. The 2020 – 2021 school year will surely be unlike any other. As we start this special year, please remember that the PTA is here to assist in providing a wonderful environment for our children. With the help of parents, we can continue to support school programs and the school community while working alongside our Principal Ms. Colon, Assistant Principal Mrs. Wynne, and all of our amazing teachers and staff.
We strongly encourage each and every one of you to become a part of the team. As a member of the PTA, you are a voice for our kids. It really is a rewarding experience. PTA elections will take place during our October meeting. Please contact us if you are interested in an executive board position. Another way to support the PTA is by volunteering your time. Lastly, fundraising and membership dues ensure that our children receive a quality experience at P.S. 133Q.
As we all know, during these unprecedented times we might have to make adjustments if the situation changes in the future, but currently we have scheduled our next four meeting as follows.
September 29th at 5:15pm
October 20th at 5:15pm
November 17th at 5:15pm
December 15th at 5:15pm
We are looking forward to a great turnout at our monthly meetings. We thank you in advance for your contributions, time, and commitment to our organization, our teachers, and most importantly our students.

Officers of a PA/PTA are responsible for the PA/PTA budget, events and activities. Officers are elected by membership annually.
PA/PTA Elections must be held in the spring. At that time, the three mandatory officers (president, recording secretary and treasurer) are elected. This must happen before the last day of school. The election rules are specified in Chancellor’s Regulation A-660.
