3rd graders have performed various popular songs using their recorder including, “Baby Shark,
Shake it off and We Will Rock You.” We have learned 4 notes, G, A, B and C. Students are
encouraged to buy one at any music store or online to practice at home, this will help their
learning on the instrument.
4th and 5th graders continue to learn music for their performance at Carnegie Hall performance
on May 21st. Please help students memorize words for “Toreador” and “Cidade Maravihosa.”
The Carnegie Hall performance is not open to the public due to the amount of participating
schools and students. A separate letter will go out about this event soon. Our second graduation
song for 5th Grade has been introduced, please practice at home.
